Bike Diva Beginnings

The Bike Diva blog was started on January 14th, 2008. Bike Diva is the official website of freelance writer and amateur athlete Lynn Smythe, AKA the Bike Diva. Bike Diva is one of 9 diva themed blogs edited by Lynn Smythe on the Blog Diva Network.

About the Bike Diva Blog

Bike Diva is a site for all cycling enthusiasts to enjoy. Cyclocross biking, road biking, mountain biking, freak bikes, charity bike rides, fitness, nutrition, bike racing, cycling gear and more are all subjects that are covered on the Bike Diva site.The Bike Diva also tests and writes reviews on a variety of cycling, running and triathlon gear. Links to all items reviewed can be viewed on the Product Endorsement page.

Bike Diva's Bikes

The Bike Diva owns three different types of bikes; a Felt Breed single speed cyclocross bike, a Trek Madone 6.5 road bike, and a Cervelo P2C triathlon bike. No one will ever mistake her for a hammerhead. Her preferred speed of travel while riding her road bike is in the 18-21 MPH range, with occasional bursts up to 26-30 MPH.

Additional Information

The Bike Diva and her husband participate in various charity road bike events including the MS150, Pedal for PAL ride, Frank Stark Celebration Ride and century rides with the Leukemia Societies Team in Training program. Back in 2008, at the young age of 45, Lynn started racing in a variety of cycling, running and duathlon events.
