Last week I posted up information on the triathlon bike I have on order: Bike Diva's Getting a Triathlon Bike.
Triathlon Bike Hydration
I went in to Racer's Edge last Friday, to pick out a water bottle to add to my tri bike, which I'll be picking up on Tuesday afternoon. I am getting one of those between the aerobar water bottles that have the straw attached. It's a Profile Design aero drink system which has a straw in the top. Really convenient for triathletes, duathletes and time trialists, as you don't need to come out of the aerobars and reach down for a water bottle.
Cage Rocket
I also got a regular water bottle holder to place on the frame of the bike. I'm thinking I'll probably put a Cage Rocket storage container in that bottle holder, as I won't really need another water bottle holder for most of my shorter training rides and races.
A picture of the Cage Rocket, in silver/black, is shown at the top of this post. Cage Rocket is sending me a sample to test out, within the next week or two. I'll let you know when I've received my Cage Rocket, and have had a chance to test it out.
The Cage Rocket looks like it would be a great water proof container to add to your bike, to carry your phone, car keys, id, etc... I'm hopping it will have enough room to let me add all my tire changing gear: inner tube, tire levers and CO2 canisters. That way I won't have to figure out how to add a bike bag underneath the seat of my triathlon bike.
Take care,
Lynn Smythe AKA the Bike Diva
The Cage Rocket Bike Storage Container is simply stunning. I saw water bottle holder on bikes but this one looks terrific and cool. New innovation specially for bikers group. Since then, I want to learn riding on a bike but I'm afraid to fall from it and got some injury.
