On May 26, I posted up a copy of this season's Team in Training fundraising letter: Coach Rob's TNT Fundraising Letter. My husband and I are training for El Tour de Tucson, a century bike ride that takes place in Tucson, Arizona on November 20. Each member of the cycle team has pledged to raise a minimum of $3,500 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Family Newsletter
I am getting ready to send the letter out to our friends and family. I decided to put a short, one page letter together, to send along with the fundraising letter, that provides a brief update/news on everyone at the Smythe household. Here is a copy of that letter. I think we need to get new family portraits taken, the only one I could find is from Thanksgiving 2008 - we all look a bit different now! Rob & I have both lost weight. Ryan has cut his hair and now has a crew cut as we go into the hot and humid Florida summer. Miss Heather has gotten taller, cut her hair and dyed it an awesome hot red/magenta color!
